    日据时期台湾法制的突出特点是它的殖民属性。这一属性表现为暴力镇压或军事掠夺、民族（种族）差别或歧视、强行民族同化或文化灭种以及保障经济掠夺或榨取等四个方面。日本在台的殖民法制表现出比其他殖民国家更为严重的残酷性、奴役性和掠夺性，在世界殖民史上是十分突出的。

    During the period of Taiwan's occupation by Japan, its legal system presented projecting colonial characters in four aspects, suppressing by force or plundering by military, racial discrimination, assimilation of nations by force, and ensuring economic plunder. This colonial legal systemof Japan has more cruelty, dulocracy and predacity than those of the other colonial countries, projecting itself in the colonial history of the world.
